Coverbond 4 is has been developed to be the ultimate all-terrain automobile cover material for the outdoors. There is an extra middle melt blown layer in the fabric and this is what gives it extra thickness and bulk thus providing extra thick protection. In Coverbond 4 there are two layers that are soft – the outer layers are stronger, while the inner layers are soft to the body of the automobile and its water based paintwork.

The cover is manufactured with fabrics, which is naturally moisture resistant. And it is extremely breathable and dries easily too. Another reason why many prefer covers that are made with Coverbond 4 is because of the fact these covers are not made with small patches of cloth that are sewn together and thus have several seam lines. Because when this happens the seams would surely come out thus literally ripping the cover from the middle. Coverbond 4 covers are made with a single cloth, which is blind stitched and has fewer seams. Thus on the one hand they last longer, and on the other they become really effective.
The added layer in Coverbond 4 improves water resistance too while keeping breathability quite high. Now this is a unique combination as traditionally covers have either been able to keep the water out or they have been high on breathability. But Coverbond 4 has been able to bring these two elements together.
However do keep in mind that Coverbond 4 is not intended for prolonged exposure to extreme sun conditions or heavy snow.
